Bristol firefighters join escort for child to hospital appointment

BRISTOL, R.I. (Sept. 9, 2025) — Firefighters from Bristol and other departments across Rhode Island took part Tuesday in a special escort for a young resident traveling to Hasbro Children’s Hospital for a follow-up appointment.
The child, Skylar, was heading to confirm she is cancer-free, officials said.
Departments from across the state joined the procession, which was coordinated with the help of Enzo’s Escorts.
