Grantham Fire Dept Hosts Monthly Training Night
On Tuesday, 2 September 2025, the Grantham Fire Department (GFD) held its regular Training Tuesday event, which takes place on the first Tuesday of every month. The evening began with the Grantham Fire/EMS Association meeting, followed by the combined Fire and EMS department meeting. These sessions provide a valuable opportunity for members to review calls from the previous month, discuss operational updates, and share important department changes.
Lieutenant Howarth encouraged residents interested in volunteering to stop by the station between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. to meet the team and learn more about the department. No prior experience is required, as GFD provides all necessary training for new recruits.
Department leaders emphasized that joining is a great way for motivated residents to give back to the community while developing new skills and serving their neighbors.
