Charlton crews contain truck hydraulic spill on Nugget Drive

CHARLTON, Mass. (Aug. 14, 2025) — Firefighters contained a hydraulic leak from a truck Thursday afternoon on Nugget Drive, with support from multiple agencies, officials said.
Crews arriving on scene developed a plan to contain the spill and prevent it from spreading. The Charlton Highway Department assisted in the effort, while the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection was notified and sent a representative.
A cleanup company was dispatched to complete remediation, and Charlton police managed traffic and secured the area during the response.
