STURBRIDGE, Mass. (Aug. 25, 2025) — Firefighters in Sturbridge responded Monday night to a tractor-trailer brake fire on Interstate 84 westbound, officials said.
The fire was reported around 7 p.m. in the highway rest area. Engine 1 and Tanker 1 were dispatched, with Massachusetts State Police also on scene.
No injuries were reported.
