Sturbridge crews respond to commercial fire alarm on Main Street

STURBRIDGE, Mass. (Aug. 20, 2025) — Firefighters responded to a commercial fire alarm Wednesday morning at 178 Main Street, but no smoke or fire was found, officials said.
Engine 2 arrived on scene and reset the alarm system. The building was left secure.
The department noted that along with residential alarms, crews frequently respond to fire alarm activations at commercial properties across town.
