WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (Aug. 28, 2025) — The Williamsville Fire Department announced the addition of new medical equipment Thursday, including Zoll cardiac monitors, Stryker LUCAS compression devices and an advanced airway system for field use.

Officials said the upgrades will enhance emergency care and noted Williamsville is the first fire and EMS department in the Town of Amherst to introduce the new airway technology.

The department credited support from Assemblywoman Karen McMahon, the Village of Williamsville, and equipment suppliers Stryker and Zoll.
