SPRINGVILLE, N.Y. (Aug. 18, 2025) — Firefighters from the Springville Volunteer Fire Company and Chaffee Sardinia Volunteer Fire Company conducted joint aerial operations training last week at Springville Elementary School.

Crews used Engine 6 to practice rescuing simulated patients from the school’s roof, operating the aerial platform, and maneuvering with a Stokes basket. The exercise also included drills in accessing upper floors and practicing rooftop ventilation techniques.
