ANGOLA, N.Y. (Sept. 3, 2025) — The Cattaraugus Indian Reservation Volunteer Fire Department sent crews and equipment Wednesday evening to assist Angola firefighters at a brush fire, officials said.
CIRVFD deployed a brush truck, a tanker and special operations units with utility terrain vehicles. Seneca Fire also joined the response.
While CIRVFD members were out, Gowanda Fire stood by at the reservation’s fire hall to provide coverage.
