Manchester Fire Department Trains in Multi-Town Drill

Manchester Fire Department participated in a search and rescue drill in Dorset, working alongside crews from Dorset, Pawlet, and Arlington Fire Departments.

The exercise focused on honing critical rescue skills in a controlled environment, allowing firefighters from multiple towns to coordinate tactics and strengthen mutual aid readiness. Instructors from the Rutland City Fire Department provided guidance, sharing advanced techniques and best practices to enhance response capabilities.

Manchester Fire officials expressed appreciation for the collaboration, noting that joint training exercises like this build stronger partnerships and ensure faster, safer responses when real emergencies occur.
