SOUTH THOMASTON, Maine (Aug. 19, 2025) — The South Thomaston Fire Department announced Tuesday that its new Tanker 52 will soon be in service for the town.
The truck is equipped with state-of-the-art features and built to National Fire Protection Association standards, officials said. It will enhance safety and firefighting capabilities for both South Thomaston and neighboring communities.
Firefighters will be training on the vehicle in the coming days before it enters service.
