Last Sunday, members of the Swansea Fire Department traveled to Worcester for a day of pride, honor, and remembrance. Before the Worcester Red Sox game began, the firefighters had the privilege of presenting the colors during the national anthem.

After the game, the department visited the Worcester Six Firefighter Memorial, paying their respects to the six brave firefighters who lost their lives in the tragic Worcester Cold Storage fire. The visit was a moment of reflection and commemoration, as Swansea firefighters honored the sacrifice of their fallen brothers.
