DERRY, N.H. (Aug. 9, 2025) — Derry firefighters partnered with the American Red Cross to install dozens of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in local homes, officials said.
The devices were provided free of charge by the Red Cross as part of a community safety initiative.
“Working smoke and CO detectors are essential to protecting you and your family from the dangers of a house fire,” the department said in a statement.
