Overnight, Seekonk Firefighters responded to a house fire on Massasoit Drive after the homeowner reported a lightning strike, followed by smoke filling the home. Crews launched an aggressive fire attack, stopping the blaze from spreading beyond its point of origin in the attached garage.

Thanks to the quick, skilled work of our firefighters, the residents were able to safely re-occupy their home.
