Truck crosses median on Route 101 in Candia; no injuries

CANDIA, N.H. (Aug. 30, 2025) — A tractor-trailer traveling west on Route 101 crossed the median into the eastbound lanes Saturday morning before coming to rest on the shoulder, officials said.
Candia Fire Rescue was dispatched at 10:22 a.m. and reported no injuries. New Hampshire State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
Fire officials noted that drivers avoided a potential head-on collision. They also recalled responding to a triple-fatal crash on the same highway a year ago under similar circumstances.
