Westport, CT - Westport firefighters responded alongside crews from the Fairfield Fire Department to a reported motor vehicle fire on the northbound side of the Merritt Parkway.

The incident occurred on the stretch of the parkway between Exits 21 and 27, prompting emergency crews to respond and work to bring the vehicle fire under control.

On August 13, firefighters from both departments were involved in the response, working at the scene to address the burning vehicle and maintain safety along the busy roadway.
