NEWBURY, N.H. (Aug. 26, 2025) — Newbury Fire Rescue conducted water rescue training Tuesday evening on Lake Todd, practicing with Boat 3 during sunset over Mount Sunapee.
Boat 3 is a 12-foot inflatable kept on a trailer at the fire station and is used for emergencies on smaller waterbodies such as Lake Todd.
The training was aimed at familiarizing firefighters with both the lake and the operation of the boat.
