NEWBURY, N.H. (Sept. 4, 2025) — Newbury Fire Rescue reminded residents Thursday that the department operates not only its main station, built in 2021 in the town center, but also a second station in the Blodgett Landing section.
The Pine Street station houses Engine 3, a 2000 Freightliner with a 1,500-gallon-per-minute pump and a 1,500-gallon water tank.
In major fires, volunteers from the northern part of town respond directly from Blodgett Landing, officials said. Engine 3 also serves as a tanker for mutual aid responses in surrounding communities.
