Earlier today, smoke was spotted in Chichester by the fire tower. Our members responded promptly and located a small outside fire, which was quickly brought under control.

This incident is a timely reminder that a burn ban remains in effect. With the current dry conditions, even the smallest fire can spread rapidly and become dangerous.
