Labor Day weekend brought no shortage of activity for the Hill Fire Department. Over the 72-hour stretch from Saturday through Monday, our crews were dispatched to a total of five incidents. These included providing mutual aid at two multiple-alarm structure fires and a large brush fire, as well as handling two smoke investigations here in town. In both smoke investigations, residents were required to extinguish outdoor fires due to the fire ban currently in effect.

Each call was answered with no fewer than four trained personnel on scene, while additional staff remained available to ensure coverage for any simultaneous emergencies. This level of readiness and response would not be possible without the dedication, professionalism, and teamwork of our members.

We thank our firefighters for their tireless efforts and remain committed to delivering exceptional emergency services to the Town of Hill.
