As part of the State’s Mobilization Plan, a crew from Canterbury was deployed today to the western part of New Hampshire to assist communities facing multiple challenging brush fires.

The crew’s first assignment took them to the Town of Washington, where they worked for several hours before being reassigned to the Town of Weare, which was also battling a significant fire.

We are proud of and grateful to our dedicated members who stepped up without hesitation to support neighboring departments during this time of need. Their commitment to service exemplifies the true spirit of mutual aid.
