At approximately 11:00 a.m. today, OFD was dispatched to assist with a building fire on Main Street in Bucksport. Eight OFD personnel responded using Engine 511, Rescue 581, and personal vehicles. Thanks to the quick actions of the first-arriving crew, the fire was rapidly knocked down. The building sustained extensive smoke and heat damage in the main section, requiring significant overhaul and thorough checks for fire extension.
