Small fire reported on walking trail in Paris

PARIS, Maine (Aug. 5, 2025) — Firefighters in Paris responded Tuesday to a small unattended fire along a walking trail off Halls Pond Road.
Officials said small fires like this can spark larger incidents if left unchecked. The pond in the area also serves as a water source for the town of Hebron.
Crews contained the blaze Tuesday.
