PARIS, Maine (Aug. 16, 2025) — Families gathered Saturday for Community Day 2025, a free event hosted by the Paris Fire Department featuring activities, games and safety demonstrations.
Children and parents enjoyed bounce houses, axe throwing, face painting, henna tattoos, raffles and the “seat belt convincer.” The event also included an egg drop challenge, with builds beginning at 10 a.m. and drops starting at 10:45 a.m.
A school supply giveaway was held at noon, and Smokey Bear made a guest appearance at 11 a.m.
