Firefighters extricate driver after rollover crash in Lincoln Plantation

LINCOLN PLANTATION, Maine (Aug. 30, 2025) — Firefighters used hydraulic rescue tools to free a driver trapped in a vehicle after a rollover crash Saturday on Wilson’s Mills Road, officials said.

Rangeley Fire Rescue was dispatched at 12:58 p.m. to assist Wilson’s Mills Fire Department. The first arriving unit, Car-1, reached the scene at 1:20 p.m. and confirmed a working extrication was needed.

Crews used the “Jaws of Life” and removed the occupant by 1:40 p.m. The patient was transferred to MaineHealth EMS and taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington for evaluation and treatment.

Rangeley fire officials thanked Wilson’s Mills firefighters, Maine Wardens Service, EMS, and other agencies for their coordinated response.
