North Yarmouth Fire proudly hosted a regional training with LifeFlight of Maine, featuring their Ground Safety Course. Nearly 60 members from North Yarmouth Fire, Durham Fire Rescue, Gray Fire Rescue, Freeport Fire Department, New Gloucester Fire Department, Pownal Fire Rescue, and Yarmouth Fire Rescue came together to sharpen their skills.

At the conclusion of the training, LifeFlight presented each participating department with a Landing Zone Kit—a valuable tool for future emergency responses.

We extend our sincere thanks to LifeFlight of Maine and our mutual aid partners for an outstanding training opportunity. While the helicopter was unable to attend due to an active mission, the knowledge shared made the evening a great success.
