LEE, Mass. (Aug. 11, 2025) — Lee Fire Rescue held in-service training Monday for two new Lifepak 35 monitors that will be placed in ambulances later this week.

The devices, purchased earlier this year, are designed to assist emergency medical crews with cardiac monitoring and life-saving interventions. Capabilities include defibrillation, cardiac pacing, ECG analysis, 15-lead ECG, and monitoring of vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen and carbon dioxide levels.

Seven EMS providers and three fire personnel attended the training session. Officials said the new equipment will improve patient care in the community.
