Pawlet firefighters join regional training led by Rutland instructors

PAWLET, Vt. (Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025) — Pawlet firefighters joined crews from Manchester, Dorset, East Dorset and Arlington for a joint training session Saturday led by instructors from the Rutland City Fire Department, officials said.
The training, hosted by Dorset Fire, focused on skill development and hands-on instruction.
“We are grateful to the Rutland instructors for sharing their experience and to Dorset Fire for hosting,” the Pawlet Volunteer Fire Department said in a statement.
