At about 8:00 AM this morning, Hawleyville Fire and Newtown EMS responded to a serious motor vehicle accident on Mount Pleasant Road involving three cars and a dump truck. Crews arrived to find significant damage to the vehicles and quickly began patient assessments while securing the scene.

EMS provided care to those involved, and firefighters worked to mitigate hazards and keep the roadway safe. The incident caused traffic delays in the area while emergency crews operated.
