JOHNSON, Vt. (Friday, Aug. 8, 2025) — Firefighters from the Johnson Fire Department conducted water rescue training Friday at Lake Eden, focusing on a variety of emergency response skills, officials said.
The session included boat operations, parbuckling, kayak handling and the use of throw bags.
Fire officials said the training helps ensure firefighters are prepared for water-related emergencies during the busy summer season.
