NORTH HAMPTON, N.H. (Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025) — Six people were injured Sunday evening when a vehicle crossed the median of Interstate 95 in North Hampton and collided with a southbound pickup truck, officials said.

The crash occurred around 5:08 p.m. near mile marker 7.6. The impact forced the pickup into the woods, according to North Hampton Fire & Rescue.

Two people required extrication before being transported. Ambulances from North Hampton, Hampton, Portsmouth, Rye and Seabrook responded, while an engine from Greenland assisted on scene.

The southbound lanes of I-95 were temporarily shut down while emergency crews treated patients, performed rescues and cleared the roadway.
