Auburn firefighters extinguish trailer fire at transfer station

AUBURN, N.H. (Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025) — Firefighters in Auburn spent more than two hours extinguishing a waste management trailer fire Saturday morning at the town transfer station, officials said.
The Auburn Fire Department was dispatched at 9:09 a.m. Crews worked to safely remove and extinguish the burning contents of the trailer.
No injuries were reported and no structures were damaged, according to the department.
