Car strikes utility pole in Andover; no injuries reported

ANDOVER, Mass. (Sunday, Aug. 10, 2025) — Firefighters responded Sunday afternoon after a vehicle struck a telephone pole on River Road, officials said.
The crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. in the area of 213 River Road, between Brundrett Avenue and Chandler Road. No one was injured, and no other vehicles were involved, according to Andover Fire Rescue.
The road was temporarily closed while crews cleared the scene and later reopened.
