Nobleboro, Bremen firefighters train on rescue carries and drags

NOBLEBORO, Maine (Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025) — Firefighters from Nobleboro Fire and Rescue and Bremen Volunteer Fire Department held a joint training Tuesday night on rescue carries and drags, officials said.
The exercise focused on proper lifting techniques and safe methods for moving patients, including blanket, chair and webbing drags, along with single- and two-rescuer carries.
Fire officials said the training helps ensure firefighters can provide safe and efficient rescues during emergencies.
