BLUE MOUNTAIN LAKE, N.Y. (Monday, Aug. 18, 2025) — Blue Mountain Lake firefighters held a training session Monday night that combined search-and-rescue drills with pump operations and stair chair practice, officials said.
The department reported a strong turnout of members who worked through active-fire scenarios while also refining medical and equipment-handling skills.
Fire officials said the ongoing trainings are part of the department’s commitment to readiness and continuous improvement.
