Members of the Bristol Fire Department and Bristol Police Department were recognized with Certificates of Clinical Excellence and “Code-Save” Pins for their teamwork in saving the life of a woman who suffered a medical emergency while driving in June.

Bristol Police were first to arrive on scene, quickly assessing the severity of the situation and initiating CPR.

Moments later, Bristol Firefighters joined in the resuscitation efforts, working side by side until the patient was successfully revived. Thanks to their swift response and coordinated actions, the patient made a full recovery and was discharged home soon after.

This incident stands as a powerful example of how interagency cooperation directly benefits the community and saves lives.
