Rindge Fire Department Wraps Up a Busy August
The final week of August kept the Rindge Fire Department on its toes, with crews responding to 34 emergency calls in just seven days.
Of those calls, 17 came in during daytime hours (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM), when staffed personnel were already on duty at the station—underscoring the critical role that our daytime coverage plays in keeping response times fast and effective.
In five different situations, multiple emergencies happened at the same time. This required duty crews to split their resources or call in additional off-duty firefighters to ensure both incidents were managed without delay.
As we head into the holiday, we want to remind everyone to celebrate responsibly and wish our community a happy—and safe—Labor Day weekend!
