Newburgh FD responded to a two vehicle MVA on South Street in area of Thompson Street on September First. City/Newburgh Police and Mobile
Life ALS was at scene. Firefighters made both vehicles safe-disconnected one battery from one vehicle. Mobile Life ALS transported two subjects to
Montefiore-st Lukes Hospital. Road was closed between Pierces Road and Thompson Street. One driver fled scene from accident. City/Newburgh Police
investigating the cause.
