Downed pole, wires restrict Route 22 traffic in Hillsdale

HILLSDALE, N.Y. (Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025) — Route 22 was reduced to one lane Saturday afternoon in Hillsdale after a utility pole and wires came down near Collins and Mitchell streets, officials said.
The Hillsdale Fire Company reported the closure shortly after 1:45 p.m. Crews secured the area until utility workers could make repairs.
The road was later reopened. No injuries were reported.
