Motorcyclist injured after colliding with deer in Aurelius

AURELIUS, N.Y. (Friday, Aug. 1, 2025) — A man was injured Friday morning when his motorcycle struck a deer in Aurelius, officials said.
The crash occurred around 7:55 a.m. Firefighters responded with Engine 2, Rescue 2 and the duty chief, according to the Aurelius Volunteer Fire Department.
The rider was transported by Auburn Ambulance. Cayuga Ambulance and New York State Police also assisted at the scene.
