HINSDALE, N.Y. (Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025) — Hinsdale Volunteer Fire Department members trained on roof ventilation techniques during a drill Tuesday night, officials said.
The exercise focused on a key fireground skill used to release heat and smoke from structures during emergencies.
Fire officials thanked the Onondaga County Department of Emergency Management for providing a ventilation prop that allowed members to practice in realistic conditions.
