HINSDALE, N.Y. (Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025) — Five Hinsdale Volunteer Fire Department members participated in live fire training Wednesday evening with the 174th Attack Wing Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting team, officials said.

The exercise, held at Syracuse Hancock International Airport, brought together multiple departments, including Cicero Fire Department, for several days of specialized training.

Hinsdale officials said the opportunity provides valuable experience for interior firefighters and strengthens regional emergency preparedness.
