On Saturday August 30th 2025 the South Farmingdale Fire Department hosted a wet down ceremony for Engine 971, Engine 973, and Heavy Rescue 979. The new rigs are twin 2025 Spartan Pumpers and a 2025 Spartan Heavy Rescue.
