Chief Genzlinger and Captain Paci have wrapped up day two of their three-day final inspection trip at Pierce Manufacturing, where our brand-new engine is being built. Over the course of the visit, they are carefully reviewing every detail of the apparatus—checking every compartment, control, and feature—to ensure that the vision set by the truck committee has been brought to life exactly as planned.

This hands-on process is the last step before our department officially brings the new engine home, making sure it’s fully ready to serve our community for years to come.
