On August 26, 2025, Engine 1 and Tanker 4 conducted a water supply drill to test drafting capabilities with current low river levels. The crews explored accessible water sources, identifying both reachable and challenging spots. During the operation, they successfully drafted 500 gallons per minute using 30 feet of suction hose.
