AURELIUS, NY — August 20, 2026 — Aurelius Volunteer Fire Department personnel were called to a three-vehicle collision on Clark Street Road close to Cayuga Road on Thursday afternoon.

Around 12:11 p.m., firefighters were sent out, and Rescue 2, Squad 2, and an assistant chief arrived. As Auburn City Ambulance assessed patients, workers responded to car hazards and worked on the site.

The crash inquiry was also conducted by the New York State Police. An hour after the initial call, at 1:14 p.m., Aurelius firemen vacated the area and resumed their duties.
