At approximately 1139 hours on August 27, 2026, the Camden County Fire Alarm Room received calls reporting a shed on fire at 271 S. Park Drive in Haddon Twp, NJ. The Westmont Fire Company and automatic aid units from Collingswood and Haddonfield were dispatched. Chief 15, Dan Devitt, arrived and reported a shed on fire to the rear of a dwelling with an exposure to the rear deck of the dwelling. Westmont Squrt 15 was the first engine company to arrive and stretched a 1 3/4" handline to extinguish the fire. A quick hit on the fire prevented the fire from extending to the rear deck of a large single family dwelling. No injuries were reported and the fire is being investigated by the Haddon Twp Fire Marshall.
