Today Pemberton Township Volunteer Fire had the pleasure of visiting Little Lambs Day Care in Browns Mills to spend time with students and staff while sharing important fire safety lessons.

Firefighters talked with the children about safety basics such as Stop, Drop, and Roll, how to safely escape their home in the event of a fire, and the importance of having a family fire safety plan. Students also learned other valuable tips that can help keep them safe in an emergency.

In addition, the children had the chance to see some of our apparatus up close and watch a firefighter put on full protective gear—helping them understand what firefighters look like when responding to a real emergency. The PTVFD would like to thank Little Lambs for the invitation and the warm welcome. We are proud to partner with our community to teach the next generation about fire safety.
