On Sunday August 24th the Farmingvile Fire Department was activated for a reported basement fire on crestwood Ln. on arrival for 5-18-30 he had smoke showing and found fire in the basement and quickly transmitted the working fire. 5-18-7 rolled up first due and started searches 5-18-4 also arrived on scene and stretched lines and extinguished all fire. Crews went back into service within 1 and a half hours later.
