On Monday, 11 August 2025, members of the Union Fire Company joined the Cinnaminson Fire Department for a joint training session at Birchwood Lake.

The exercise focused on drafting operations, a critical skill for establishing water supply in areas without hydrants. Training in natural water sources ensures that both departments remain prepared to deliver effective fire suppression in rural or limited-access areas.

Joint drills like this also strengthen inter-agency coordination, improving readiness when responding together on mutual aid incidents.
