Thursday, 21 August 2025 – The Willingboro Fire Department (WFD) held its 3rd Annual Touch a Truck event in the parking lot of the Kennedy Center, drawing families from across the community for a hands-on evening of exploration and fun.
The event, designed as a silent experience with no sirens or loud noises, gave children the opportunity to safely see, touch, and explore fire trucks, township vehicles, and other specialty equipment.
WFD extended its gratitude to community partners and participants, including Flynn’s Towing, Burlington County Sheriff’s Department, Beverly Fire Department, Willingboro Police Department, Willingboro MUA/Public Works, and PSE&G, for helping make the event a success.
“Thank you to everyone in the community who came out to support,” the department said. “We hope to see you again next year!”
